making a much-loved park even more loved

Hamworthy Park is a 10ha public open space located in the urban area of Lower Hamworthy, Poole. The Park directly fronts onto Poole Harbour. The landscape of Hamworthy Park is formal in layout and is strongly

influenced by its seaside location. Hamworthy Park is much loved by local residents of all ages and is a popular destination for people from the wider Poole conurbation, Dorset and international visitors to the area.

Proposed residential development nearby and improved strategic links to the Town centre are likely to increase visitor numbers in the future.

Poole council commissioned fwdesign to develop and deliver a sign family for the four entrances to the Park, including design of the structure and graphic displays and supply of the complete structure ready for installation by Borough of Poole. We have developed an attractive,

welcoming and engaging graphics reflecting the 1930’s heritage of the Park and contribute to its identity as a modern leisure facility.
