Bath & North East Somerset Council has appointed a design team including fwdesign to develop a new information and wayfinding system for Bath city centre. fwdesign’s role involves developing the wayfinding strategy and information design, including developing a graphic identity for the new system that communicates Bath’s DNA as a city. We will be working in collaboration with Pearson Lloyd, who will be developing the on-street information products and CityID who have been retained in a design advisory role.

The strategy sets out how Bath could become one of the UK’s most walkable cities. It aims to declutter and refashion a network of streets and public spaces in the heart of the city to make the city easier to understand, access and move around on foot, by bicycle and public transport.
